Piedmont, Italy

In North West Italy, the word Piemonte literally means 'foot of the mountain' with the Alps surrounding the region and influencing many aspects of the Vineyards here.  There are over 50 Appellations of whites and reds, but this area is famed for its Barolo from the Nebbiolo grape as one of the most robust and long lasting wines of the world.

There are now also lighter styles and Barbaresco and Dolcetto are alternatives that too make amazing wines unlike anywhere else.   We are fortunate enough to also have a selection of outstanding Whites from this region which are very exciting.
